Day One Complete

The weather today was definitely interesting. I had mild rain for most of the ride, which was actually more comfortable than it sounds.  I hit my 100km target for the day, and averaged 25.5km/hr. I felt strong coming in to Port Hope and debated getting in another couple hours on the road before looking for a place to camp, but settled on shacking up in a motel instead. Tomorrow's going to be pretty cold and I figured a warm night's sleep is the best prep. No need to push things too hard this early in the trip.
